The EXPECTATION is that every parent/guardian will volunteer for the League at least ONCE per student per season. The great experience provided to student-athletes is only possible because of the contributions of over 150 volunteers at each race. Please learn more about the various volunteer positions on our website - most spots are about 4 hours.

  • Free hats for volunteers for those that volunteer at 2 races (while supplies last)

  • Paid parking positions

  • Free tech tee or $50 merch certificate for select Course Marshal positions that volunteer at two or more races (see website).

  • Please click here to volunteer for Central Region Race 3.

Course:  5 miles with 657 feet of elevation gain.

Course Description: (red line) This course is a singletrack classic and a favorite! Riders stage and start on the access dirt road above the main lodge. The course gets serious right away with a big climb out of the start, so warming up is very important. The course then goes up to the Green Pond Loop singletrack, which features riding through beautiful alpine forest on dark and tacky dirt. A few rock garden sections provide a technical experience for riders. The trail wraps around the mountain and connects back onto a dirt road for another passing section and short climb. The long, sweet descent on singletrack features some newly built berms by Snowbasin. The trail turns and winds through the trees and crosses two tiny streams before dropping back onto the access road. From here, it’s a quick sprint up the road to lap through or finish.
